Shabbat in the Shawangunks (Minnewaska State Park)

A Shabbat morning hike at Minnewaska State Park. This moderate 4 to 5-mile loop, starting at the Peters Kill Parking Area, includes cliffside views, cascading streams, and unique relics of the region's downhill ski history.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability on Submitting RSVP

1. Acknowledgment of Risk: I understand that hiking is a potentially hazardous activity and involves inherent and unforeseen risks, including, but not limited to, falls, uneven terrain, severe or unexpected weather, encounters with wildlife, and remote conditions without immediate medical access.

2. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless BaDerekh, its organizers, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, death, or property damage arising out of my participation in this hike.

3. Personal Responsibility: I acknowledge that I am physically capable of completing this activity and am responsible for my own safety, equipment, and medical expenses.
